Carpinteria Unified School District is seeking community members to participate in the Measure U Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (CBOC). The CBOC is charged with reviewing facilities expenditures funded by Measure U bond funds and reporting to the Governing Board and the community. Download the application, due Jan. 25, 2019.

The CBOC currently has five community member positions open as listed:

• 1 member — Parent or guardian of a child enrolled in the District, also active in a school support group or school site council
• 1 member active in a Carpinteria business organization
• 1 member active in a senior citizens’ organization
• 1 member — Parent or guardian of a child enrolled in the District
• 1 member of the community at large

Terms will be effective 3/10/19 through 3/10/21.
