Message from the Superintendent

It is my great pleasure to share with you the inaugural issue of our Measure U Newsletter. The newsletter is intended to keep you up to date and serve as your source for the latest news and information regarding Measure U.

We will generate the Measure U Newsletter once every two months beginning in Fall 2016 and continue throughout the school year; culminating in our year-in-review issue each June. Of course, you can also visit our website for more information at carpmeasureu.com.

This year has been one of great progress for Measure U. Conceptual Site Planning for each campus is well underway and has been the focus of 2015-16 school year. It will continue through the end of Summer 2016. The conceptual planning process has truly been a community effort. My sincerest thanks to all of the Site Committee Members, staff, architects and the Board of Trustees for your time and participation. Your work is a labor of love and continues to inspire me.

Summer 2016 holds some exciting next steps. Our proposed Summer 2016 Projects represent the beginning of a long line of tangible and visible outcomes of the first bond issuance of Measure U. We look forward to sharing this with our community, without which none of this would be possible.
