Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee

About the Committee

On March 10, 2015, the Carpinteria Unified School District Board of Trustees appointed seven members to the Measure U Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee. The committee is comprised of representatives from education, taxpayer groups, business and industry, senior citizens’ organization and students, and community-at-large, and is charged with ensuring that all bond funds are spent as promised on capital projects set forth in Measure U.

The initial appointments are staggered, such that some of the initial appointees have been appointed to serve one full two-year term. The other initial appointments serve a one-year term, but will be eligible for reappointment by the Board for a second and third two-year term.
